On the face of it, yes, but having been a supervisor in the non-flying world, it's not really that uncommon.

It largely hinges on what is a terminable offense at a particular company. The out of date EFB may not be such an offense, but the number of write-ups within a certain time period is likely such an offense.

After awhile at a regional, I really don't think you'd have a problem in a major either. I've heard of worse and they are at the majors as well.
