Default AirlineApps Simulator Time

Greetings All,

I have a question about simulator time in airlineapps. There are cells for PIC, Instructor, SIC and Dual Received. It adds all of these times together for your total, which becomes an incorrect total. So in my Part 121 training, would I just log all of my simulator time as dual received and none as SIC or PIC?

Thanks in advance.

I did not mess with that page. All it does is completely royally F everything up. Airline Apps is truly an awful site. I never logged sim time during training, mainly because I never really did any. The only sim training was at my first regional and now at my current airline. I know how many hours it was, but it's not in my logbook. If anyone cares enough to ask at an interview, I can provide the number.

FYI, I never put anything in there. My app was professionally reviewed by two independent consultants and neither one even mentioned anything about it.

I guess you can log PIC for the times you were training in the left seat for a PIC position and SIC for the times you were training for SIC position. The numbers won't add up if you have other sim time (flight engineer).

Dual received would be when you were in the sim for your instrument rating. Instructor if you were ever a sim IP.

I don't think it is a very well designed grid. My opinion is that perhaps it's there mainly to see if you have been through simulator training before.

Could not agree more. The site blows.
