Default 4-year degree recommendations

I'm sure this has been talked about before, but I'm tired of searching... I have an associates in aviation, and I need to get the 4-year knocked out so I can hopefully land that big-boy job.

I'm basically looking for the school which has the best combination of cost, and credit transfer acceptance. Specifically looking for an aviation degree. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

are you looking for online or residential? There are some great online schools out there like Liberty University and Delta State University.

Check out Delta State. It's pretty cheap. I'm one semester away from completing my masters there. PM for more details.

Thanks! I'm looking to do online only. I applied to ERAU to see what kind of credit they will offer me, but I'm still waiting to hear back.

Check out Utah Valley University. I did the full 4 year program online. Price was right, and the classes were fairly easy to knock out while on the road.

Check out Excelsior College. They took a lot more of my military education than ERAU or a couple other local colleges I looked at. I went from having to complete 12 classes or more down to 5. I was able to test out of 4 with ACE, DSST, and UEXCEL exams. I only took the Capstone. Done in 6 months instead of +2 years. Parttime. No cost for books either. PM me if you'd like any more details.

Don't get a degree in aviation, get a degree in something else so that if you ever lose your medical, get a DUI, etc then you'll have something else to fall back on. Be diverse.

For the "don't get an aviation degree" recommendations, thanks, but an aviation degree is what I'm looking for. Why? Because I already have 2.5 years of a 4 year degree in aviation and I would like to finish sooner rather than later. I've let enough time pass, and hiring is going on like crazy and I don't want to waste any more time than I already have and comepletly miss the boat.

If you're asking yourself "why hasn't he already finish this degree?" the answer is somewhere between non of your business and the fact that I'm lazy. The lazy part also gets further into the part where I'm looking for an aviation degree.

I got mine from ENMU. They will give yo credit for your aviation stuff. It's online and resident, but you can do your BS online. They gave me credit for my A&P and it took me a couple years to finish my BS in Business with Aviation Maintenance. Great people. Eastern New Mexico University, Portales NM - Eastern New Mexico University
