Default ATI scheduled

I’ve searched this thread a while but haven’t found much on schedules yet, I know it’s probably in there somewhere but can someone give me the quick and easy answer to what the schedule is at ATI? Is it still all 16 days on or are there some shorter trip options? Thanks

The majority of schedules are 16 on and 12 off. There are a few DHL lines that have weekends off, but rumors are that we are picking up more amazon flying and will be losing DHL flying by the end of the year. I dont know if that rumor holds any water, (I'll believe it when I see it) but it sure has a lot of people talking.

There are a few lines with 14 and 13 days off but as previously said most have a min of 12 days off.

There is obviously a lot more Amazon 767-300 flying coming on board, with the 2 ex-Atlas aircraft and 2 more Amazon aircraft going into service yet this year, on top of the 4 that are already-flying. Quite likely the additional 4 Amazon 767-300s coming to ATSG next year will go to ATI, but always a possibility some or all of those will go to ABX if the toxic labor situation there is ever worked out or ATI can't staff them. (For now, Amazon is significantly-increasing the tempo of ABX's flying with existing equipment, and are implicitly-chartering at least two of the underutilized ABX 767-200s to accomplish the work; i.e. there are 7 or 8 ABX-operated aircraft in the air for Amazon simultaneously every day, and each is flying more hours than before.)

As to the talk about the DHL 757 flying going away, it is certainly possible as DHL has apparently been making noises about ending 757 service in the US for several years -- at least the rumors have been around for several years. However, every year the 757s seem to keep flying. So who knows? Candidly, the pilots staffing those out-and-backs could be better used on Amazon lines, but an airline of course doesn't want all its eggs in one customer basket.

On another front, ATI got a nice award today for 767-200 military cargo flying, and a separate award for the Combi flying. These took the form of "task orders" and so are specific commitments by the military. Indeed, the ATI task order for the 757 combi flying was about $10 million higher than the total award to Omni for all military flying, which seemed odd. I was trying to see what Omni's total military flying was last year in dollar volume for comparison.

As far as the Amazon schedules two words, they suck. They are getting worse each bid period.

Is the schedule more tolerable if you live in a city where ATI has frequent flights? SEA comes to mind...

Yes, living in SEA will be much easier- I live on the west coast and commute to and from there often.

Most recent stockholders annual report showed Omni with $63M in direct revenue and another 10 yr averaged $14M intangibles customer revenue for 2018. That included programs other than DoD as well as ad-hoc . Based on a roughly 50% increase in pilot staffing and adding 3 more 767’s I’d say they’re growing.

I’m no expert at deciphering 10k’s or detailed annual reports so it’s possible I’m misreading it. It’s on page 59

How many flight hours are dudes getting during Year-1 ?

I understand everything is home basing. Is it safe to say that when it is time to work, then you are actually flying?

Is there any "come sit reserve and end up never flying" stuff going on ?

Thank you
