Centurion surrendered their certificate to the FAA. It’s only skylease and only 747s, who knows how many. I haven’t seen one in a few years. They may have 1 or 2

well we know it is at least minus one since they ran one off the end of the runway up north.

It's two. N903AR and N904AR, factory Fs, and they are flying to Asia reliably with heavy crews and insane utilization. I suspect that cash flow issues are a thing of the past at this point. Those aircraft have rarely sat anywhere for more than 2 hours for the last 5 months. And with fuel now cheap, they tank up and go nonstop 14 hours straight to China, load up, and fly China-ANC-Conus, unload, rinse and repeat. Every once in a while they run to BOG and back, but almost all Asia right now.

I guess they shouldn’t have scrapped every single MD-11 they had...

Agreed! 950AR seems still to be registered, but it hasn't flown since like February. And I read some article somewhere about they were retiring all their MD 11s. Which I think at that point was just that one.

It along with the sole remaining Centurion are in Sanford Florida both have begun the scrapping process. Neither will ever fly again

My last few times through ANC, I've seen one of their 747s sitting at the terminal with a few engine cowls open and quite a few panels missing. Looked like it hadn't moved in quite some time.

That would be spot N7. Also known as “The Gate of Shame”. WGA regularly parks there. Lol

Yep, that's the one. Always go past it heading into customs.

let me put it this way, when the pilot group creates their own union and stops flying until checks are deposited, that’s when you know.

I haven’t heard much change since I had left. Again, this was years ago.
A guy I know wrote them the most epic of resignation letters though...
