What would you do?

Then about a year ago, tired of being unemployed (furloughed), applied to SWA. Mea Culpa in the interview and viola; hired by SWA a second time.
I think if he'd actually been on the property when he went to Delta things might have been different but I really don't know.

Unless UPS is paying poolies, you should take a job offer (take your pick -- which one would you prefer to be "stuck" at?). If you're still working at SWA or Continental when UPS calls, make your decision then.
Remember the old saying about a bird in the hand?

Have a buddy in my reserve unit who was "hired" by UPS in 2002 and sat in the pool for about 2 years. It was his absolute first choice so he didn't apply or interview anywhere else. Well, when brown did call him back, they brought him down to Louisville and basically re-interviewed him. You can guess the rest of the story. Didn't have a good day in the sim and they said thanks but we're not interested anymore. A job offer, a class date, none of that sheeot means anything until you're sitting in Indoc looking at your employee number.
I say go with SWA or CAL, then make your decision when UPS calls you back. Needless to say, it's a nice problem to have though.

- I say, get your sponsor (hopefully you know someone at UPS) to call HR and explain the situation exactly as it is.
You just got hired at CAL AND SWA and you are also in the UPS pool. Do you have ANY suggestions on what he/she should do? (Hint, hint, how much longer???)
It is possible that they’ll think, wow this person just got hired at 2 great airlines, he/she must be a good person to have, lets pull him or her out of the water!
You just never know!
Good luck, hope we’ll see you in Brown soon!

One thing to consider, your help at those airlines. A buddy of mine just quit CAL after 5 months to go Brown. CAL was ****ed and went after the people that recommended him. The people that really lose are those that are recommended by those people in the future. Just another angle to think about.

If we lived in an honorable world, you'd probably call CAL and SWA and ask them for a postponement of your start date, in the hopes that you get a class date from UPS. That way, you'd not take someone's spot in a new hire class, when you have no intention of actually staying there, to begin with. However, being that we are in a "me" society, I'd recommend doing what your conscience dictates, keeping in mind, of course, that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Regardless of your decision, good luck in your career.
