No problem. If he does decide to jumpseat into CVG for a sort, Atlas, ATI and ABX all will have pilots and others there to give him all the information he needs.

Not suggesting anybody go there. Just answering the question about what's out there.

I think I read in previous posts that ATI needs US citizenship too so the list is getting shorter...

Kalitta requires a US passport. ABX, Omni, Southern and Atlas say only that they require "legally permitted to work in the US". Omni additionally requires ability to enter the international countries they fly into and to secure all badges and such required by US airports. ATI hiring window doesn't open for a while again, so no posting, but last time I looked it required "legally able to live and work in the US". Hope this helps.

I guess we will have to wait and see...

Actually you did...."much of the unhappiness you hear of is from ABX"
Implying things at Atlas and Southern are just peachy.

We have the best on time performance. ATI is hands down the best bet for you because the future looks amazing here! If you want money, quality of life and a golden goose future, ATI welcomes you! Message me if you want more info and have an honest conversation. To many people on here are bitter about the success of ATI and you won’t get a fair review. If he’s eligible for the job, have him come here!
Go with the pilot group that has no balls, sold out their brothers/sisters at ABX and did it all for a bunch of Prime Air bag tags.

Future Looks Amazing = Just wait to see how we cave to management again. Now we can sell out not only ABX but Omni Pilots as well!

Caution your husband about anything (and everything) Atlas recruiters may tell him. Seriously. Management & their recruiters have been telling applicants tall tales regarding a new contract for years now - typically describing it as ‘...by xmas/end of the year, etc...”. They dangle fat carrots to entice new applicants...knowing full well they are lying. So buyer beware.

Also, if any of these rumors regarding Amazon taking more aircraft & flying away from Atlas and giving it to ATSG are true - then being on the bottom of the Atlas seniority list would not be an enviable spot to be in. It wouldn’t be the first time Atlas has furloughed pilots.

And finally, there is this to consider. This is management at Atlas. They literally have sued a widow of a colleague of ours that died while on a trip. They are the most cruelly litigious executives in the industry.

You said citizenship is available in 2020. That's not far away. Wait it out an apply to FedEx and ups.

I miscalculated- only in 2021 and the desperation level is high (to get out of the regionals). Thank you for your input though!
