M-Driver,
I'm new to this forum.How ya'll doin?
Bad manners are everywhere,so please disregard the 2 plus percent at ABX.
JS's are an integral part of my crew and a pleasure. Because of the wrong side of the clock I'll never be able to fully reciprocate Legacy types.
N. American dhl crews need not make js an issue.Most van verbage are "half truths,inuendos and hear say, and lead to alot of nothin' ". Enuf love fest stuff.
Museums indeed. The first 8 I flew was newer than the 76 I'm now on.Go figure.
Stand united.

L77STFD;
welcome to the insane asylum! thanks for the jumpseat statement. some people are just anal or mad all the time. they're not happy unless they act or behave that way. too bad for them.
astar folks, i am truly sorry for such a display. it was unprofessional, only way to put it. i don't get the last vote, but you're welcome on any plane that i'm flying. please provide your own entertainment and flight attendants.
fly safe guys and vote down any lousy TA!

Let me apologize for his bad manners. Obviously he never listened to his mother, teacher, priest, or wife. If you can't say something nice don't say it at all.........

You are welcome aboard any flight I work
I resent that statement. I don't jumpseat because I live local. Everytime I visit ILN Abx ops I hear someone making a crack about "two-percent". Remember, there's never a greater percentage on any given night, there's only one two-percent (Me, M.K.)

Some of the nicest jumpseaters I've had were Astar crew. Starbucks Doubleshots from that girl in MCO; cookies from the SFO guy. How come none of you folks are looking for a ride to Qingdao?

It'll never happen. Just more negotiations gamesmanship from Hete. He doesn't even know if he can legally establish a domicile in Japan and it's further proof of how little he cares about the chaos he inflicts on the lives of his employees.
Speaking of chaos, .......this constitutes yet another major dispute under the RLA. At first glance you have a tendency to wonder if he didn't learn something back in June. Apparently the learning curve is a little steep.

Default bad crew ratio.....

Airlinepilotcentral.com

Pilots per plane

FDX = 13
UPS = 12
Astar = 11
ABX = 6

There is a problem here. It's not Hete's (CEO) fault, it's not Morgenfeld's (VP for Flt Ops) fault. It's our (union) fault. Our CBA not only allows it, it promotes it.

let's get on with something that'll improve that!

FDX and UPS have significant international ops which take a lot more crews per airplane. Astar's fleet is all 3-man crews so if you convert to crews per airplane you get ABX: 6/2=3, Astar: 11/3=3.67. ABX is a bit short staffed at the moment and Astar a little overstaffed.

The ANA flying requires a lot more crews per airplane than does the domestical flying.
