I can't wait to move to Memfrika - this kind of stuff is gonna keep me entertained for years. But as a funeral home director, I can see how she'd support the AGE 65 rule - she'll get some early business when we all keel over at 66. Maybe Fred will give her some kickbacks out of the the A fund savings!

Oh she's just the tip of the iceberg as a representative for the Ford family. Just goes to show you how messed up Memphis is when people like that are always elected and re-elected. It's kind of sad, funny and pathetic.

The thing is, the smart people have already fled the Districts (District 29 in her case) so only the stupid people are left to vote for them.
In this case, though, even her family realizes she needs rehab -- they just can't seem to find her.
Between this episode and her falling off of a bar stool in the hotel bar (she hangs out in a hotel in Nashville, and still manages to submit the largest expense reports of all state senators for travel expenses), even her constituents are beginning to suspect something's up. Ophelia claims it's her anemia and her meds. <hiccup> Yeah, right.
