Hello

I passed an interview with MAC for the ATR possition, and got an email from HR telling me that my interview was a success and HR will following up with a class date soon, HR person did mentioned June or July and asked which one I want. I did replied asking for the earliest class date but no replies after that. The day I got an email from HR was first day of May. Should I reach out to her again? When should I do that? How long I should expect for an official offer and class date after I got an email saying "the company want to offer you"? Please help me out.

Not at MAC, but checking in after two weeks can be done in a professional manner without coming across as impatient.

Friendly greeting, sincerely ask about their weekend, reaffirm your availability and desired class date, mention your eagerness to complete any required pre-hiring documentation or testing, and wish them and their team a pleasant week. Finish off with how much you are looking forward to begin your career.
Very Respectfully,
Your Name

How is the ATR FO staffing down in PR? Are there regular opportunities to fly down there?

Most of the hiring is down in PR. They are always looking.

Appreciate that. How do you think the training is? I've heard the FSI ATR training is nothing to laugh at.

It's very professional. I hear many say the ATR was the hardest type rating they have done, but I don't think so. Probably if you come from a very
automated Jet it might be, but I think it's a fun airplane.

Thank you so much for the info, much appreciated.

Question for Purple Runway guys- are y’all really waiting around for years for FedEx to finally hire again flying feeders when you could be at a regional with a flow or something with a much more promising future? FedEx could possibly be 1000 overstaffed with the loss of the USPS and management seems to think shrinking the airline as much as possible is the best strategy. I truly want to know what’s the vibe at the feeders…

The way the program is structured now they don't have to wait until we're hiring again you just have to meet the requirements to flow (3 years and 500 hours PIC)and they're put in the next class. I don't believe for a second that we're overstaffed anywhere near that amount. If we were they would be chomping at the bit to give us the bad news to destroy morale as we begin negotiating again. Every single purple pathway candidate is a gift for us anyway. If we were to enter any portion of 4A2B/C the moment we bring someone on property we immediately exit and the timeline starts again. It's true that unless you're tied to memphis that there are more attractive places to be currently.
