Not sure what there is to talk about. If you are deciding between ABX and DAL/FDX/etc., the choice is clear, same clarity applies if your stuck between ABX and AJT (and many other ACMI's). Certainly there is real choice between some (i.e. ABX vs ATI/Atlas/K4), but if you're researching and deciding between ABX v AJT....end of conversation.

There you go living in the world where you assuming everybody thinks like you.
You are part of the APC problem, a pilot asks a question and you attack them personally. You don't know me and yet you lob insults behind your keyboard.
Probably right since I have talked to pilots from both outfits. However, if you guys would just quit the personal attacks somebody could make an informed decision.

I've been on vaca (and still are for a bit longer...), but I have not heard of an unqualified (i.e. not completed OE) FO being assigned R1. Understanding that R1 is considered airport reserve (which we pull from the hotel...at least for now (for the cheap seats, it's not contractual and a Covid protocol that ABX put in place...it's long term is unknown when/if it will expire)). R1 crewmembers can be launched at a moments notice either individually or as a crew. Therefore the concept of having a new hire without OE actually on this duty is perplexing.

Personal attacks? wjcandee, who is probably one of the most even-tempered, matter-of-fact contributors of really solid information in this forum, made an observation that seems to have some agreement among others here. That you were able to elicit such a response really says something.
I've never been one to tell people not to come to ABX, but in your case, I'll make an exception. Seriously - you are not likely to succeed here with your attitude.
ABX might not be a big-time airline anymore, but you should not get the impression that it is some kind of second-rate outfit because it lives in the category of ACMI and is viewed by many as a way to pad their résumé on the way to something bigger. The top of the seniority list is populated with people who contributed to making it a big-time airline before it was crushed by circumstances beyond their control. Several have returned after retirement to work as instructors. They are happy to provide the benefit of their experience to those who want it. But they won't put up with any nonsense. Neither will I.
I hope this helps you make an informed decision.

You're the one who came in throwing attitude. You weren't asking questions. You registered a complaint about a job you don't have, then reacted negatively (and threw more attitude) when I indicated that your expectations might not be entirely in line with reality.
