Quote: until you guys just ratified a new one, all three ATSG carriers were in section six and that would have been the time.
clearly the union leadership at all 3 shops aren't interested.
We were not in section six. Our CBA was amendable at the end of 2026. The day we ratified that extension, we were still two full years from even giving notice for section six.

Stand corrected. Continue fighting.

Quote: My days of having a dog in this fight are over but you scoped ATI out of CVG with DHL. I guess you are fortunate they didn't do that to you with Amazon.

Hete has always had a soft spot for ABX though so I suspect they'll keep coming out on top.
Not really. The whole intent of the scope, since ABX was operating under an umbrella company after the DHL buyout, was in the event ATSG bought another airline, that had pilots that were ok working for scab wages, they could not move aircraft from the ABX certificate. It worked to some extent. Because they could not just "take" ABX aircraft and nobody wanted the old crap ATI was flying, combined with fact ATI lost its whole book of business, ATSG decided to use profits generated by ABX to refleet ATI. And yes Hete was in charge and help build ABX long before ATI or Omni were owned by ATSG.

Quote: Again...when you personally "set the bar" on your current contract, that is also
crazy numbers for an airline that was and is hemorrhaging cash, and would most likely have filed bankruptcy or
had your contact renegotiated to stop the bleeding, you did not have the luxury of having 2 sister airlines under the same corporate umbrella competing for your business AND airplanes. So nobody cares. If the merger doesn't get approved...Hawaiian will have to file bankruptcy. At some point you will realize, nobody cares what "bars" you are looking through.
What does corporate profitability have to do with how much of the pie pilots get? Alter ego means you have even less leverage regardless of corporate profitability.

By the idiotic statements you make, i am convinced you live in your mom's basment, and fly model airplanes

Bankrupt majors still paid better than profitable regionals.

She's 90, probably the only age group that would date you and buy into your nonsense. You will find out firsthand what it's like to work for a bankrupt major, when the Alaska/Hawaiian deal falls through.

I’ll just go get another job. I won’t descend into bitterness like you seem to be. Thoughts and prayers your way.

You're arguing with the 2 pilot groups that have signed a subpar contract/extension in the past 6 years just for the promise of more flying. What'd you expect honestly

Nothing. You are right of course. Selling oneself short for job security is self defeating. Usually ends up as a net negative in the long run in pay/qol.
