Default Standing Bid Suggestion...

I was surfing through VIPS last night and clicked on Standing Bid. I while back, when the company keep putting it op on the home page, I updated mine and include 757 Captain as a joke. So I decided to take it out and remove it from my choices.

I know it might be minor but I do know the company keeps track. If you want to show a little more displeasure with the LOA proposal go into VIPS and make sure you do NOT have the 757 listed as one of your choices. Again, minor but you just never know.

BC talked about that at the hub turn meeting the other night.. The company does watch it and they've brought it up at the table. That's why they think the 757 in CDG will fill up without this LOA...no need to talk about any changes. PurpleTail makes a great point. We all need to take out the 757 and 777 from our bids until this LOA and future payrate for the 777 are completed. Now off to vips.....

I pulled my 757 Captain bid about 3 days after the LOA came out.

Default Thanks for the reminder

Thanks for bringing this up. I just took the 757 and 777 out of my Standing Bid as well. I'll try to get the word out, as well.

Excellent suggestion--did it myself the other night when I was ticked off at the company for the VIPS HKG/CDG Q&A thing.

If it's currently on the ramp flying revenue service, then it might be in my standing bid. Otherwise...

What were you ticked at the company for? At least they are communicating vs. our brothers who are intimidating the jr. guys into voting yes for this turd of an LOA........

Good suggestion on the standing bid although i dont think a handfull of guys looking at this forum are gonna make a difference. Same with the LOA.....most senior guys I speak with dont have a clue we have an LOA out. I am very nervous this thing is going to pass guys......we need to get the word out......

I understand your point, but people need to be communicating with their MEC reps about the shortcomings of this LOA, not the company (as far as I'm concerned).
I feel management will use our input against us...Do you really think it should be that easy for them to know exactly what it will take for us to approve an LOA? They need to offer more money with less strings attached, but they don't need us telling them exactly how much now do they?
Having said that, filling up PC's inbox with half a million questions is not such a bad idea

That is exactly why I posted the reminder. Word of mouth is the best way but every possible medium works just as well!

I still have not talked to one person that is remotely happy with the LOA.
