It is getting rid of extra seats that the over 60 crowd can sit in while they wait for the train to leave the station!

Why would ALPA tell us about any problems? They know what is best for us, no need to bother us with any kind of information that affects our careers.

The MEC was originally against the excess bid, but have recently changed their mind a are now for it. Among reasons cited were, "We wanted a say in how the process is accomplished."

An alpa e-mail has been sent out "explaining" the reason. It appears to be a computer modeling error by the company.
