Block 11 Rep Letter

From what I hear that was the intent, what he sent in was to be posted as a LEC 99 update but the MEC was busy chopping the Negotiating Committee update from MH...So the LEC 99 update didn't make it out before the vote started. How convenient!!!!

Anybody else notice our Mil affairs committee chair was let go after dissenting on this website and Sleepy outed him?

Looks like you were wrong about being able to dissent and being kept around. I noticed you elected to go back to the line!
Fullcourt press by the union. No prisoners. Keep that in mind next time the union says they have our best interests at heart.

I think you misread that Message Line. It might also help to review the conversation you referenced. ( http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/sh...153#post200153 )

You have been WAY to quiet since having a voice at the meetings.....there was a lot of chatter before that....
A lot of guys have given you a lot of slack on this board......
Was negative feedback withheld from being published by ALPA....
And what is your position other than your latest "correction".......

My name is at the bottom of the Majority Opinion and the LEC 22 Update -- both describe my position accurately. I'm happy to answer e-mails and phone calls if you have specific questions. I may be quiet here, but I'm pretty busy with the other media.

Sleepy is absolutely correct. The change in the Military Affairs Committee Chair had zero, zilch, nada to do with this LOA. This has been in the works for some time now, well prior to us even knowing about the LOA. I appreciate your concern for us, but if you're going to write emails, how about emailing the former Chair and thanking him for his service? He deserves it...

Agreed.
We have too many guys in ALPA positions because "Joe was my XO back in the squadron". Nevermind that we may have 50 people that could and would do a better job.
We have way too many guys in ALPA positions that have been there for far too long. Funny, when that happens in Flight Management the union throws rocks, but somehow it is different when it's over on Kirby Parkway?
We have a closed system for Flight Loss Pay that offers no transparency to the people that fund the multi-million dollar budget.
We need lanyards that say "TERM LIMITS FOR OUR MEC".
