You guys ever fly down through Africa and have to make position reports in the blind because no one will answer you on the radio or into India. Now that's fun. Land at some craphole and the locals demand 15K in cash or they will impound you a/c. The things we do for this business.

Gotta love it.

Don't forget about the Southern guys in the herc that taxied across a land mine in Africa.
My non aviation friends just don't understand.

Unfortunately, we dont often do that kind of "sporting" flying at UPS. Yes, India, but thats a whole other Oprah. Thats right up my alley. We do however transit places where no one wants to talk to you, and thats just fine by me.
