I flew one of those flight tests and it was pretty impressive what it was capable of. But yes I was also told it was rediculously expensive, paying not just for the service but also per megabyte of data.

Nice to hear other pilots appreciating wifi enhancing their wx awareness along the route as compared to the tried and tested VHF/HF, Acars & Satcom updates.
