Talking FedEx Ground Instructors?

Anyone have the scoop on how FedEx hires their ground/sim instructors?

Sometimes via job fairs, sometimes via internal postings. Lots of recommendations from crewmembers who know someone with a background that would fit will get a person's app in front of a manager. Also, some who apply via the pilot app procedure are given the opportunity to interview for a professional instructor vice line job with a flow-through agreement at the end of three years. There's actually a pretty steady, although not large, turnover with these guys going to the line. Regardless of how your app gets in front of the training managers, it's exactly the same interview process as for line guys. Hope this helps.

That helps a lot...Thank you. If anyone does hear of an opening, let me know. I live close to Memphis and I think this would be a nice fit for me.

We like to hire people who can get their idea across without fancy fonts.
