Even the MEC was 7 - 4. I guess some of the guys are getting smarter.

Maybe the company can change one more thing before Aug 10, then the MEC will vote 3-8 in our favor. Why can't the union come up with any "side LOA's?"

Simply because if it doesn't suit them, they just say "NO"
A couple of guys can impersonally sit down inside FDX and figure out the best way to go. Trying to figure out the best way to go for the 4800+ that actually live our CBA is like trying to manage the Borg!
