Yeah we can use all that leverage we don't have to fix them.

F that "Oh, let's band together and move on" CRAP!! Time for banding together is over...WE ARE WEAK!! WE ARE DIVIDED!! WE WERE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!! WE WERE MISLED!!

Showing this, "Let's stay together, we'll show 'em" stuff now is BS...I'm not part of the 60+% that voted for this POS!

Bet there was a HUGE PAR-TAY last night that WE weren't invited to!!

DPs here I come...my union doesn't care about helping me, well, I don't care about helping them.

So--what now? We work together--educate or change some of the components of our MEC--and remember that this was a family feud--nothing more. We can fight amongst ourselves, but we are still family. I think a few big brothers at the table may be a tad greedy, and maybe some of the family includes some pretty weak sisters (--), but you are my family anyway. We'll get through this and move on to the next challenge.
TRUE!

Moping around about this will not change it. Accept it and move on.

I just had to explain to my 4 year old that crying all day at school is not going to make school go away...it will just make you and everyone around you miserable (yea, I'm understood what I was saying...really). Same thing here: negativity sux.

If it makes you feel better to tell those who bid this you didn't vote for it, fine.

It is never ending negativity that give a venue like this a bad name.

I don't like it, but all I can do is vote against those who represent me and voted for it...oh yea, and I could run for an office...nope.

CP: uh, either you can take your toy and go cry in a corner or you can take part in the only way the pilots have a voice in our way of life.

This is how the RLA and the CBA work. The MEC is not the union. You and I are the union and we need to get it pointed in the right direction again.

We already have plenty of independent contractors hampering our progress, please don't become one of them.

All the negative crap is true, gets you no where, I promise to laugh out loud and say I told you so no more then 12 times.

But it is not being negative to say: Now can we please see the Tax Equalization numbers the MEC saw. IMO it is the only way you can make an informed decision on bidding an FDA. Just as important as seeing the lines. 72 K extra dont mean a lot if forces you into the AMT.

I agree completely. The MEC paid our money to a tax expert to brief them on TE and we have a right to that info from the expert.

There are many things that the MEC pays for that you may or may not have the right to know about. Some are valid - i.e. details about representing pilots in disciplinary proceedings - the details are not public for obvious reasons. Then there are other things that should be public that are not. The MEC seems to have the same attitude as W - "I'm the decider and I done decided on this one".
