Default 747 classic gouge

Hi anybody out there know of any websites where you could pick up some good gouge before you start ground school? Thanks.

As a suggestion, you may want to get the airline-specific gouge. Each airline operates the classic slightly different than the next.

Good Luck...welcome to the airlines.

Thanks for all the info. Yes I just got done with the Herk after 9 years of some great flying. Any tips on flying/landing the whale?

It's fairly mechanical. Definitely doesn't require as much finesse as the Herc. Keep the power in till 50ft, then slowly walk them off...That is key, to slowly reduce the power. At 30ft, start the flare. you can't go wrong. Where are you working? You will love the beast. You can hand fly it without much thought.

Good luck. Hope you like deadheading for 10-16 hours in a middle seat in coach for no pay. Keep those applications up to date. At least you'll be able to see what the bottom of the industry is like.
