Default PSA Interview Gouge

Has anyone been to interview at PSA in the recent past?

Got the email today with all the info and one of the items it says is a "Skills Evaluation and General Aviation Test" which she specifically points out is "new.. and will not be available on any gouge site--sorry" -- anyone been recently and have any clue what will be on this test????

Thanks!

Chris

I wouldn't worry too much, from the name - the test sounds like basic stuff any candidate should know if they are applying to an airline. Just know your Jepps, AIM, and regs and you'll be fine.

Default PSA Interview

I was there last week

Got there at 12.15 and the interview started with a presentation 12.45

After the presentation the test, 26 questions, most of them the same as before.

11 started, two did not make the test and had to leave. We all had to wait ouside in the hall for the result and only the ones that had to leave were called. That was followed by a combined HR/TECH interview held by the chief pilot the head of training, another gentleman and Rachel the HR lady and we had to go in according to the first letter in our last name.

They will decide if to send you to the sim or not at the end of the HR/TECH interview. I was sent to the sim. It was an old computer sim (think it was an MD80). Extremly sensitive in pitch and difficult to find the right power settings. The instructor sets the power for t/o but after that is your controls and you have to find the right power settings for the different speeds you are asked to keep in climb, descend, etc. You are asked to brief a holding entry and to intercept Loc and fly the glideslope.

I got a good feeling about the company and liked the people. Everyone we met was friendly.

I dont know what the result is as I have not received any mail or call yet and it is over a week now....................
