Where's the Bid?
Per O-gram of 21 Sep:

The “new” target date for the next bid is 1 October. It only addresses the FDAs, the SFS closure, and minor seat re-alignments.

Don't hold your breath. However, it will be interesting to see the reaction to no FO's bidding HKG even though our union leadership has ensured us that it will go senior.

It's gonna be interesting to see how many guys sitting in the back of the 727 bid for a FO slot in the FDAs. The chance of going from making $72/hr to $132/hr or $108/hr plus a $7 override is enticing. I know that HKG and CDG are expensive, but will that pay increase and the measly $2700/month be able to afford you the same standard of living?
A couple of the guys on here have pointed out that you can't get excessed from the back of the 727 to a FDA. But you can get excessed to the right seat of the 757 in MEM, so twice a year you'll be in CDG.
This is gonna get real interesting, real soon.
