Hey Atlas guys.... (UPS)

I don't think that guys here are really not interested in going to UPS (I'm young and would consider the move), but many people are aware of the UPS first year pay and can't honestly afford the pay cut. I've been here (Atlas) for 9 years and enjoy pretty good quality of life, working only 9 to 13 days a month.

Sorry not to be an a hole on the subject but tell me one pilot integration that has ever worked good for the company. Several pilot's at AA don’t even talk in the cockpit because they hate each other. Is this the kind of CRM that UPS wants. It doesn’t seem to work at AA FDX or USairways.

I know some great guys/gals at Atlas and they seem to be happy there.
Personally I hope both our airlines will keep prosper separately...but if we do merge, I for one would not want to see Atlas pilots kicked to the curb – let American be the nazi airline here – I think we are better than that. How the seniority should be integrated? I’ll leave that to the lawyers…They seem to be running the airline industry anyways…
It's funny we're debating something that probably won't happen anyways...Instead DHL will buy us all and then staple us to the bottom of Yangtzee River list...We'll be getting paid in sacks of rice and noodles...

For the company? Pretty much all of them.
For the pilots? - none that I know of. I guess maybe Reno being bought out by American? But then I heard it sucked for Reno guys after all, so I'm not sure...
I don't think CRM in the cockpit is the reason airlines merge - it's the bonuses for the executives that matter the most...
