Yes it is easy.

From Paris go to Gare du Nord. Take Eurostar to London waterloo station. 2 1/2 hours. Take Tube (Circle counter clockwise route) from Waterloo station to King's Cross station. From there you can catch a train north. I have never taken the train to Manchester, only to Cambridge.

Good luck and enjoy, it is really easy

Its the only way to go, If you have the bank get the first class ticket and try to book a forward facing window seat. I prefere the big table, it gets you off the asile. The tube is easy to Kings cross, and you should be able to catch an express train to Manchester.

Just remember Paris, London and Manchester are big citys and full of theiving europeans so watch your bags....
