How about we all just enjoy our families and the Holiday season and let this all wash out in the next week or so before we start thinking about eating a bullet.
Which TV did you get? ..........

I have too many unanswered questions to have a decent guess on where all this is going.

Don't even try to figure this stuff out. I remember a close friend who was at his 1st day at another Brand x. He was getting the Standard new hire welcome aboard, you know the one, where the Chief Pilot says "Welcome aboard and congrats, you are all getting hired at the perfect time. You will all be Capts in 4 years". That was a new hire indoc on Monday. The furlough notices came out the following Friday.

There will no doubt be a flurry of rumors in the coming weeks. Don't believe anything until it happens.

Let me ask you fecav....

If the union asks you to vote for a BLG reduction LOA to prevent furloughs, would you vote for or vote against it?

I've got a feeling it would be handily voted down.

I'm getting that note so fresh feeling that it would be voted down.
If you are asking me that with the information I have gathered on this forum the last 2 days whether I would vote on anything, I would say no. How about we let this thing settle a day or so(hell, let's give it a week) then we can have a more intelligent conversation about it. But to think all this angst has been generated over one FCIF is amazing.

Maybe so.

But this stuff tends to happen real fast. When the first FCIFs or words are sent out, it is often very late in the game.

Am I missing something? The BLG reduction capability is already in the CBA. 1 bid period notice is all that is required. Why would there be a vote?

Negotiation is required to go below 68 & 85 hours BLG (4 & 5 week months).
