LJ I quit going to any meetings when "My union" and "My MEC" tossed me under the bus on age 60 and the LOA. I will not go to another meeting or play nice with "My union" until they start representing Me.

The only way it will change in my opinion is when our entire mec steps down.

That is what is needed.
Exactly, a webcast can be watched from any place in the world and since even Larry King takes phone calls and most of us have skype, it would be interactive. Is this really too much to ask?

Just based on those numbers...I'd say the majority of folks don't really seem that concerned about what our union is doing for them...Otherwise, you'd think more would go to their meeting.

Once again, it's easy to talk the talk. How about walking the walk? You want something changed. Get involved!! Seriously.

I'm starting to think that maybe the monikers, "vocal minority" and "proponents of hysteria" may be closer to the truth than I had hoped.
By not showing up to meetings doesn't mean we aren't concerned. Send emails, phone calls, and message boards should be adequate.

They make a nice bonus to do a job, listen and represent us.
