Default FDX - Passover pay question with award cnxed

I've read the contract several times about bid award cancellations. How do you read the passover pay verbiage?

If you had a WB award, it gets cancelled, you keep it in your standing bid, but don't get it on 08-01, do you start p/o pay when someone junior to you checks out on 08-01 or later? Does this include those excess awards that are junior to you?

R U A Wide Body Captain? No, good luck getting the union to G A S.

But to answer your question I'll bet the company does not consider an Excess bid a posting:

" junior pilot is activated in a crew position pursuant to the same or any subsequent posting and the rate of pay for that crew position is higher than the rate of pay for the current crew position of the pilot whose award has been canceled; "

Although:

"When crew position excesses are declared, they shall be posted in the same manner as crew position vacancies."
