FDX-contract improvements next negotiations

My calculations are simple. They're based on no movement:
A "stuck" 6yr widebody F/O's rate at DOS and his rate as a 10yr widebody F/O at the amendable date.
And, a 15yr widebody captain rate at DOS and 19yr rate at amendable date.(In other words...No longevity raises for the capt)
The F/O, with no movement, will gain approx. $5,000/yr in raises more, than the capt will gain.

[QUOTE=Busboy;349868]I just want to be sure I'm not being misunderstood...I'm not advocating raises for just captains.
I'm no economist. But, I do believe that blanket, overall % raises, provide more income, for more years, for more pilots. Than, raises targeted at a select group, that will only be in that position temporarily. Albeit, for a longer period than wanted.
I haven't done the math, but it seems our pay rates are not linear. How about we first negotiate a large hourly rate increase for Capts., and then negotiate and establish a standard percentage of Capt. pay for FO's? I.e., an FO will get 75% or 80% of the Capt. rate for the same equipment and years of employment. Same method for SO's. Once the FO and SO percentages are established, future negotiations will only deal w/ Capt. rates and everyone gets the same raise. Isn't this standard procedure for the industry?
