FDX - Standing bid?

probably the 777 at the top. The training letter is out. Foxhunter is so popular he is listed twice!!!!! 1st as going thru 10 s/o training and then through 11 Capt. Guess he couldn't beat the system after all. I was wondering why he was so quiet lately!

I'm not sure the company or the union will fight for a higher rate for the 777.........What's that? It would benefit the old cronies of DW who just bent over the rest of the crew force for age 60???? Let's fight for it!

His response was:
FDX ALPAs position on B-777 pay is that it is already in the contract (A380) as FDX has continually communicated that the B777 is a replacement for the A380 and it will be used as the A380 was intended to.
What say the company on-the-record ???

I wrote my block rep after the 757 debacle and said, "My opinion: 777 = 380 payrates."

Why doesn't that give me warm and fuzzies?
Because he is also the guy that said that his retro proposal for the Ropes had no chance of being included in the final language of the age change bill.
I have a feeling that the company has other ideas about what the payrate of the 777 will be, and also that it will cost us dearly to just pen and ink the contract with 777 for 380.
