If so, that could really screw up the company's estimates for the # of seats they'd predict they will to back fill domestically given their forecasts for on-property guys moving to the FDAs.
In the end, I think the FO slots will go unfilled and they'll need to recruit new hires to these FDAs.

Unless folks start playing games again with their "standing bids" before the bid comes out vs. their "actual bids" in the practice and final rounds once the bid is released.

I definitely agree with Huck...the standing bids are there for a purpose. Practice bids could help a lot of people plan....We are not negotiating with the company here. Any chance we could make this kinda sorta civil?

What is this a conspiracy or a surprise?
I suppose you think they should publish the FDA standing bid without having the slots added to the selections??

Standing Bids and Practice Bids are 2 completely different things. Not brodcasting your intentions to the company via standing bid will not affect any practice bid that comes out as a result of a Posted Bid. My Standing Bid has 2 things, the seat I currently hold and 999. I'll wait to see the posting before it changes.
