I heard this CDG rumour on a jumpseat a few days ago, also, heard that the FDA LOA would be improved. Let's hope so.
Not to continue the crew bus rumors but also heard that at a certain oil price that the 727s would be reduced greatly, if not parked completely. How this would happen is beyond me, but I can only surmise that the 757s we are getting will be deployed Domestically to replace the 727s faster than planned.

may either remain in your current crew position or exercise your
seniority for an award on Postings 07-03 or 08-01.

You forgot to mention this little gem..
"Needless to say, these equipment changes will necessitate excesses that will require some decision-making by junior pilots, since some backward movement is expected to occur in the more junior seats on each aircraft type."
Read move more over 60 guys back to the front while those junior to them get pushed off the bottom. The ladder is fully in their grip and being pulled up at an alarming rate! Who ya gonna call.."SocialSecurityBusters!"

And to think we just had a bid for EXTRA wide-body captains a couple months ago! My condolences to the newly-minted Captains on all types, that might get sent to the right seat again--not cool!
