Thanks guys for substantiating my comments on my original post of this thread. It's not all about seniority, but about domicile vs non-domicile habitation, and the benefits of living in-base. Seniority certainly plays a part, but less so than living in base, or more specifically, Memphis. The other bases have less flexibility, especially ANC. As well, if you really want to "share the pain", than we should be limiting the companys use of flex guys and other schoolhouse personnel, so that a Boeing Captain flexing (as an example, because all jets have these perks), cannot make upwards of $400K.

I do bid carryover and conflict that with r-days and pick up CIA trips (to stay current) I do not fly and protect carryover flying. If the company wants to pay me to sit at home I'm up for that.
