DW's fuzzy math

Yea, I remember when this whole thing raised it's ugly head. I can't count the near-60 guys who said, "There's no way I'm gonna wait 'til 65! I'm outta here at 60 if not earlier!" Ok, how many of them have actually left since the rule changed? Just like I predicted; hardly any.
Politicians know it's all about spin.

from the crew bus.....your "hardly any" is actually.....ZERO.....100% eligible have stayed - so far.
some (as some of you know) who already had their big sendoff retirement parties - "unretired" (or didn't actually go through with it officially)....!!!
nice touch!
surprised? i'm not.

can't (didn't) confirm it.....but I might as well perpetuate the rumor (isn't that what this APC site is all about anyway?? - anonymous rumor mongering).....

Sounds like a pretty good estimate of the over 60 flowbacks into the SO slot. Haven't qc'd it to any extensive detail, but, if memory serves a decent chunk of those guys have been 60 for several years. So, DWs number of 100 seems reasonable to me.
The big kicker, is the 750 guys who get to continue over the next several years. No crystal ball here, but, I'd be willing to bet most of them are going to ride the pony until they get some idea of what the next contract is going to look like.
