I heard at the school house that the 777 will be manned at 20 crews per/ac. 20 x 2 man crews equals 40 pilots per/ac. I don't know if that includes the 250 instructors and LCAs or not. But 30 airplanes means 1200 pilots. Not bad for a guy who sucks at math.

They did. A performance review would prove it.

I was thinking in reference to their work concerning "retro".

You're right...when I'm wrong I admit it. Didn't mean to jump your sh!t. I was totally reading in to what you were saying instead of taking it for face value.

From what I've heard from several at the union, though, is that there have been a ton of calls to block reps from the more senior pilots in reference to a furlough to so they won't lose any more money.

Anyway...sorry for the post. I'll go be quiet now

Always looking for a good argument. I understand the union is getting calls from all across the spectrum. Also, NEVER be quiet!!!

Not just on the senior blocks...but sometimes from guys senior on SEATS.

I've heard some of this from some middle blocks too.

I did the last hub meeting...here is my synopsis...

We are in this together. Not because I say its a good idea (but I think that it is...). Not because the other MEC guys agree (but they do...) We are in this together because 94% of us endorsed a contract that said this is WHAT we could do should things ever go south. We have a gameplan and marching orders...while some things flex here and there I think the spirit and intent of the contract endorsed by the crew force is pretty clear. We plan on doing all we can to enforce the contract.

Why does this have to go to DC? Can't the MEC work it on their own?
