I second the motion that you are an idiot. What have YOU contributed to FedEx ALPA (or the FPA of old) to avoid Black Thursday and the like. Dave Sanders, despite his political agendas and with the help of Jim and Andy, was a hero that day. The potential number of lives lost plus property destruction is an overwhelming thought. I wouldn't belittle you for your political affiliations or thoughts; DS deserves the same respect.
As far as doing my part - I've been a FPA/ALPA accident investigator since Oct '96 and had the "privilege" of crawling through and around the wreckage of 2 MD-11 hull losses (a wk in EWR and a wk SFS) - giving countless hours, days and weeks of my free time, never once taking trip pay loss! My conscience is clear!

Touche!! I'll use more discretion in the future. DS was a friend long before being a non-member. I never appreciated paying for any NM's benefits and personally feel his contributions to the likes of Black Thursday, etc. have been exaggerated.
