You will have to make up your OTP in that bid period + the next two. You get paid 125% for OTP. But don't worry, if you don't make you your time in the allotted time, your OTP balance goes into your makeup bank.
You need to call CRS. Right now the assigned code of TRP doesn't help you. You need to get notified that your trip has been revised and that they are offering you a trip as a RAT trip. Or you can decline and get into sub, where you can elect OTP if you wish....

Thanks Redeye,
Your explanation does help, but do I have to pick up an OTP trip at the same time that I declined the RAT trip or can I pick up OTP makeup trips over the next two bid periods. I want to have my ducks in a row before I call CRS.
BTW, I never was notified even by VIPS and the trip shows a pay code of TRP.

Check out sections 4.N. PMU (Priority Make-Up) Trip Pay
and
section 25.H.10. Reassignment in Lieu of Substitution
and
section 25.H.11. Election of Open Time Priority in Lieu of Substitution
for starters - good luck.

25.H.2.b Trip Rescheduled Outside 4 Hour Window
The trip is rescheduled to begin more than 4 hours prior to its original showtime or to terminate more than 4 hours after its original termination time. Trips in this category must be offered to the pilot as a reassignment trip prior to the pilot being placed in substitution.
25.H.5.a Substitution Trip Assignment
The showtime and scheduled termination of a substitution trip must be within a pilot’s substitution window.
25.H.10.b.ii If a pilot declines a reassignment trip, he shall remain eligible for substitution.
You're in a SUB status due to the first paragraph quoted.
They "must offer" the trip as a RAT.
Your refusal of a RAT trip is not the same as declining a SUB trip. Refusing RAT just puts you back into SUB status for the SUB window. As we all know, long SUB windows for commuters are a pain. If you live in MEM it's still a pain. But you don't go into OTP status until you turn down a SUB trip.
That's how I understand it, anyway.

but first, you have to get CRS to change your TRP to a RAT trip....
section 25.H.11.a.
11. Election of Open Time Priority In Lieu Of Substitution
a. A pilot eligible for substitution on a non-PMU trip may elect
OTP by notifying CRS via VIPS as follows:
i. any time prior to the showtime of his original trip if he
was notifed of substitution eligibility prior to showtime;
or
ii. when notifed of his substitution eligibility if he is notified after showtime.

You have 2 more Bid periods to pick up open time trips that will pay you 125% under OTP.
Generally and I say Generally, it is usually better for you to decline a RAT and then go to open time, except unfortunatley there currently is NO open time.

I have turned down sub and elected OTP and yes you do have two bid periods after the bid month of the original sub to make up the trip at OTP. So you should have until the end of the Oct bid month to collect OTP. Another option is to turn down RAT, stay in sub until they assign you a trip, and then if you don't like it, turn it down and go into OTP.
