Default FX Indy shuttle question

Hey guys and gals,

I ride FX from STL to IND a lot for my commute but I've never done it the other way around. I'm going to do that next week. What I needed to know is how to get ahold of the shuttle from the terminal over to your building.

When coming to IND I just ask the ramp shuttle driver to radio for a shuttle to the terminal. Is there a phone number I can call to do this? If there is and you don't want to post it here, feel free to PM me. Also, is there anywhere to hang out while I wait the two or three hours for the ride to STL? As usual, thanks guys. You've made my commute much less painful on many occasions.

Default O.K., Here is your answer

Phone number for Indy ramp is 317-481-7914, however, as a offline jumpseater the answer may be a polite "we can't". At least try and see what they say. If not, I think a cab might be the next option.
There is a jumpseat area to hang out, I believe there is a computer in the room. There are also coke/snack machines nearby, just ask anyone at the desk.
I hope this helps.
OBTW, I commute fron KSTL myself! See ya soon!

Ricky,

Thanks man. You aren't by chance the former waterskier who's wife is at UAL are you? I see a lot of the same faces around the crew room there.

I've gotten a ride several times from the terminal to the "hub" and vice versa and never had any problems. Just call the number above, ask nicely, and they should send someone over. Hope this helps and thanks again to the guys and gals at FedEx for making my life so much easier as a commuter!

Indy ramp is going to pass you to Indy security. This is who you need to call, 317-481-7038. They are going to ask you for your last name and employee number. I would just give them each. The bus will pick you up outside where the rental and out lot parking buses pick up.

Default Wow, waterskier?

Pilotpip:
You gave me credit for two things I'm not privy of.Water sports to me is defined as a libation in hand, poolside. My beloved wife is ex-USAF nurse, but she'd be a great flight crew!
See ya soon.

Waterskier by means of being a former Trans States employee (Frank was right!). Sorry man, I've met a lot of good guys and gals in the STL crew room. Hope you're one of them!
