If I was a younger guy I would seriously consider working for them! Pays decent with the $10,000 retention money. Probably make Captain fairly quickly. I am guessing junior guys would be based in MIA.

I suspect we might loose a few 151ers to them.

If things tank here at ABX and Northern puts us MIA guys in the left seat, (assuming the NAC guys don't want to commute or move to Miami) I would seriously consider it. Especially if it's out and backs and the money is right. On a side note, they have to seriously get their ground staff under control. They have absolutely no concept of "on time".

Well they’ve never flown express freight like us. Totally different mindset.

Does anyone know how close they are to getting 76 rates? I mean the plane is flying now, right? What are they paying for it. Looked at the rates here and those 73 rates are sad.

Are the NAC pilots gonna join the ranks of "corrosion corner" in MIA?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't ATI operating the aircraft for Northern similar to the Aloha run for now? The ramp crew is probably the same SAS people that have handled ABX for years since Northern owns them now. And I'm going to guess that AMES is providing contract mx for them and the loadmaster used to fly for ABX and was let go recently. Its an awful small world on the Eastern U.

On the aloha air cargo website it say NAC is hiring on to the 767 for ANC/HNL/MIA. Was looking to get HNL hopefully any scoops on how basing works at NAC ? Also I'm at 1800 hrs and 350 multi jet will I be at all competitive ? Mins said atp only.

One of our loadmasters said it’s NAC operating the 767 in Miami. Doing proving runs with revenue freight.

It depends on if you have connections to Hawaii. From what I understand Aloha is still only interviewing for the 737 and don’t want to direct hire to the 767. It’s possible that you could go direct to the 767, but unlikely. 767 has been going junior because we don’t have a contract and it’s initially flying out of Miami until Aloha gets ETOPS. Once those things happen and a vacancy bid goes out I expect more senior pilots to bid 767 and some of the junior guys to get bumped back to the 737.
