You can't dh to/from mem/HKG in a single duty period. So there is 2 days each way on the commute. Should be interesting!

We have an October trip that starts with a trip to HNL, then DHs to SFO and operates to NRT to start the Asia bag drag. So.......maybe they start you out with a SFO, OAK or LAX trip, lay you over then DH you to HKG. You need to think like the enemy and ...the sodomizer is our enemy!

Unless DW cuts a deal. After all it is just F/Os, he could decide company jumpseats are OK or at least authorize coach.

Ahhhh!!!!! But we were told we have none. OK maybe a little. Ok maybe a little more. I guess the few of us here (the fringe) were right after all. I hope the other 68% are starting to realize they were sold a POS.

So who gets the better trips, the assigned domiciled FO's or the SIBA FO's? What does the Union have to say about any of this?

That is easy, the SIBA trips will be the ones that pack the most duty periods into the least days.

just making sure I understand what you're saying......who was right that is.......

was it you guys on "the fringe" who, last week, were counting the days to non-vol STVs?

or, was it the guys (me) that said "believe the company when they say there will be no non-vol STVs to fill the vacancies?"

you 32%-ers got this all WIRED!! not.

so......to recap.......who was right about STV and/or SIBA again? the paranoid about non-vol STV 32%-ers on "the fringe"? uh, yeah....not.

and while we're at it, why is everyone suggesting that SIBA would go senior and voluntary STV wouldn't? can someone 'splain that one to me? isn't SIBA usually 3 months also (maybe not, we don't have it in ANC, so I don't know for sure)?

seems to me that SIBA must be a better deal ($$$) for the company than STV or they'd be offering voluntary STV instead of SIBA - even with the positioning/depositioning deadheads. or, heck, for that matter, just non-vol the junior suckers to STV instead........things that make you go hmmmmmmmm?

yeah.....you guys were "right".........

Fortunately, Webb only has that ability under the FDA LOA. SIBA is not included in that POS setup. STV is. Good we gave up the leverage of SIBA for STV! Knuckleheads!! Well, 68% of us, anyway.

There is nothing to say. Schedulers can do what they want.
