I to got the nasty letter from Delta several years ago about getting miles on a corp discounted ticket. I didn't add the freq flyer number but the gate agent did thinking she was doing me a favor. This was a one time thing and I got the letter the next month and they took the miles back and stated that if I did it again the would contact my employer. Now I've got NWA miles on a Delta ticket with Corp Trav putting my NWA number on the res and no one seems to care.

I'm not sure if this is related, but when my airline was bought by Delta we lost our FDX shipping discount and FDX would pull out a nasty letter to embarrass you with if you dared to ask for the discount.
There is some disconnect between the two companies and FDX has even hassled us while picking up packages for Dad. He's FedEx. I'm now Delta - got a dog on both sides. Don't know why the policies between the two companies don't align better.
UPS is HQ in ATL? I dunno.
We have unlimited jumpseats and flow back, welcome aboard.

I always thought that FedEx gave other airline emloyees Interline shipping privileges in exchange for FedEx employees being able to Interline travel on the pax carriers (i.e. ID90's, ID 75's, ID 50's, etc)?

Not to rehash an old thread but anybody else noticing a "Delta" influence on the NW Memphis fares for FEB. Just tried to book a DH to DSM and it was double the normal fare. On a hunch I looked at the scheduled flight; accepted fare is $327 while the tripmaster fare is $690.
Looks like I'll have to switch to AA this year.

A few months ago I purchased, on-line, a coach round trip ticket, on NWA, from BDL to SAN. Then I called NWA and used some frequent flyer miles to upgrade to first class on all 4 legs. I'm playing in the National Doubles tournament next month in Phoenix, and so the other day I purchased, on line, thru cheapfares.com, a round trip ticket on Delta. Again, in coach. I then called Delta and asked if I could use some of my NWA miles to upgrade my Delta flights to first class. Their response was not only NO, but HELL NO. They told me that the class of ticket didn't qualify for an upgrade. That had never happened to me flying NWA.

Does UPS still do a lot of crew movement by using your own jumpseats? Seems to me that they used to do that as a normal way of moving crews to outstations, in lieu of a commercial ticket. Just wondering.
