Default ABX Question

Recently, Amerijet International, a Miami-based cargo operator, announced to their pilots that they had come to an agreement to fly ABX freight, using 767's, to ABX destinations in Latin America. I would assume that the freight in question belongs to DHL, but I can't seem to understand why ABX would give up flying to Amerijet. These are issues of importance to the IBT, which has been in absolutely fruitless negotiations with AJT, and are currently waiting to be released from the NMB. Has any pilot at ABX heard of this so-called agreement?

It's a dry lease and it's not DHL freight. Hopefully we will strike if they go through with it. Of course ABX is pretty much shredding our contract! SCOPE, what's that?

Good luck!

Thanks, whatever information I could get on this I will pass to IBT Local 769. AJT has made a mockery of negotiations, refusing even to address scope or pay issues. They got another thing coming, as soon as the pilots are released. They claim that they will bring 767 guys off the street, maybe they could hire laid off ABX guys at their hilarious pay scale. I really hope the boys at ABX make some noise over this.
