Hello World guys.

I have a favor to ask. Trying to locate Capt Mike Hansen. If you know him, or of him, please PM me.

Thanks.

I thought I read something in one of the cargo gossip rags about LH not renewing 2 MD-11s and 1 747. Is this true(I sure hope not...)? If so do they have work for the birds?

Best of luck.

LH cancelled one of our MD-11's and the 747. The 747 was cancelled to throw that business to Jade Air Cargo because LH has a very large stake in that airline and they are on the ropes. I was just in Frankfurt and reports are that Jade is under performing. Having said that, LH's cargo is down dramatically as is everyone elses. It's not likely we'll get that back. On the other hand, AMC just certified our 747 for AMC cargo ops. AMC pays much better so here's hoping we'll see the 747 getting some serious cargo runs with the military.

Well, even though it's a bummer to lose (at least partially) LH, I'm thrilled that the airplanes are busy.

The "otherside" of the house seems to have greater than expected AMC flying so far, and the kool-aid makers seem to think that's going to continue.

Some of the AMC stuff is getting thrown on the 400s over there too.

Best of luck to all of us through this downturn!!
