Default FDX -OTP/SUB Question

Not a good time to ask about picking up trips, but they owe me one.

Looked in contract couldn't find specifics, but here are my questions:

1) If sub'd and then refused a trip, what is the time limit for OTP M/U? Know it's two months, but is it two bid months or 60 days from declining?

2) Also, if 60 days from declining, do I have to m/u the trip within that footprint or can I put the request for OTP in that 60 day window for a trip which is beyond that window?

Make sense?
Thanks!!

BTW - Overmanned my arse!!!

All's I know is your paycheck two months from now will take a hit if you don't cover it. If it was a Jan sub trip I think that means April.

So, if there's no open time trips what are you gonna do? I lost a sub trip pay due to the fact that I couldn't get an open time trip within my two month window. Not sure if there's any other way to go about it.

There is. Payroll deduction.

Try priority make up during the monthly bid processing window. If that does not work I guess you have to hawk open time at 0800 every day.

How I read it, you get the current bid month and two after that. If you dont use OTP within that time period, it just goes into general MU.

The catch is you are paid for your sub trip in the current month. If you don't make up that time those hours are deducted from your paycheck two months later.

Correct. That was not the original question.

Diamond is correct: current bid month and two (2) after that.

Here's what happened to me....

Got removed from a trip I traded for in Oct due to scheduling making an error on trip assignment. I'm in the Oct bid month.

I refused SUB so I've got the rest of the Oct bid month, Nov, AND Dec to do Priority Make Up.

I held fast until Dec when I knew there would be plenty of trips to choose from. I noticed on my Dec VIPS Pay Summary the first line was a -16.00 hrs of pay for the SUB trip I had been removed from in Oct.

A sweet trip to VCP came up and I jumped on it even though the trip credit was 19 and some change.

You get the value of your OTP credit + up to 6 hrs maximum. Your OPT time is paid at 125% when you decline sub and once you make it up in your window. In my case, I got 125% for the 16 hrs and straight pay for the remaining 3 plus change for the VCP trip I picked up.

Also, earlier in Nov, I had tried to pick up an open time DDH charter that was worth around 28 hrs but it was refused even though I've got close to 1000 hrs of general make-up because of the Reserves. I was outside of the 16 + 6 credit limit.

Perfect, thanks. So I have the month I was sub'd, then the next two months to m/u.

Another question, can I OTP from the open time sitting there during the view/add window? (IE- this trips that they are using to build VTOs/etc?)
