Huh. Was it just me, or did Barney Frank seem open to Fred's ideas on changing the tax structure?

That was a good interview. I enjoyed the Boss's input for new airplane depreciation, even though I don't think anyone will listen, he made sense.

Is it me or does Barney Frank prove he's an idiot every time he opens his mouth... he's kind of creepy. How come no one slammed him with the Mac twin's failure under his watch!

Barney Frank has screwed up a lot of stuff under this economic meltdown but why are you still focusing on the Macs? So far Fannie Mac has drawn $0 and Freddie about $14Billion of TARP funds - that out of the $450B spent so far and the other $250 accounted for. Heck we, the taxpayers, spent more than $14B just covering Merrill Lynch's (worst economic company in the country) December bonuses for employees (of course due to their great performance in 2008).

F.S. would have been good as Commerce Sec instead of Daschle.

Not focusing on it.. just a blatant example that most are familiar with.

Tom Daschle is nominated for Secretary of Health and Human Services NOT Commerce. Governor Bill Richardson was the one nominated for Commerce before he withdrew. Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) is supposedly the one being asked now to fill the Commerce Secretary position.
