On paper, I don't think there are any -10 guys, or Subic 30 guys. They have already been excessed, just waiting for training on their "current" seats.

And you still can't cause an excess in HKG 30C/F, so "only" 20/36 guys will get to go there, unless the company decides to add more.

I would agree that being excessed to Subic is not possible because of the clause - "...no pilot may be awarded or assigned a crew position at an FDA base that would cause an excess at that base. "

but.....nothing says if you're senior to any DC10 pilot, you can't be awarded DC10? is there?

not sure what bidding DC10 would accomplish, but bidding it might just throw another variable into the mix causing, possibly, an extra itteration and people being able to move (be excessed) one more time?

Well, I hope only super junior guys go to HGK otherwise they can overstaff it for now then furlough and re-shrink the base if the seniority there is high enough in the FO seat.

If someone is junior to me in the 757 can I bid the 757 to relieve excess or do I need to get pushed off the bottom (excessed) out of ANC to get the 757?

Thanks

None of those are vaild bids AFW as all of those statuses have been completely excessed even if all of the training hasn't been accomplished. They essentially don't exist going forward.

The current seniority summary on VIPS still lists the most senior and junior DC10 pilots.

& VIPS standing bid allows you to input both DC10 and Subic as standing bid requests.

there's also still a DC10 bidpack for March.

I'm just sayin'......

probably wouldn't get awarded it......but you CAN put it on your bid.

Default Just Bid Hk Captain....

BID HK Captain, they can't send us all there and need to know there is a price to play.

I'm willing to go, and they can buy my McMansion.

They aren't in excess because they want all of the extra pilots to end up in the lowest paying seats. They are letting 75C fill up, because they are growing that seat anyway.

I can't speak for others, but I would imagine that the 90+ WB Capts getting bumped down would go to the 757 Capt and 727 Capt slots this time around. Then next time around, after they are full of lower seniority folks, they bump again with an excess.
