Did you read the FAQs on the difference between bidding to relieve and excess. It says where line up your bids determines how it lists your award (bid to relieve or excess). That must be where the software fowls up.

Probably, the next "clean up bid" coming to a theatre near you, will include the 757 I would imagine. Music has not stopped yet boys.

Lag, I understand all of that. I thought the percentage was in play with bid to relieve. I found a blurb in the contract where it seems that percentage bidding only applies to vacancies. Didn't know that; standing bid updated.

Unfortunately, I think that a lot of folks who bid to relieve on this bid, will bid to stay on the final. I really don't see all of these folks going to training(at least for the same pay).
I think round two will be the truely interesting one, where they lock out more people and force folks around

09-03 will excess most of the ANC FOs from the right seat of the 75 to the 72 (either right or back seat) and it will close before 09-01 to give them one more chance to select HKG. I can't see all of those guys staying in the 75.

Didn't they just shuffle 25% of the left seat of the 777? How many of their high dollar, already trained initial cadre of instructors and check airman just got booted?
