What if the meeting goes something like this:
UPS: OK, where's that $50m coming back to us?
BM: We've got 150 guys who want to take MIL and PLOA, and here's slides on how to save an additional $45m on top of that (all the great ideas everyone has sent in so far). Savings for you will be $70m+.
UPS: No, we want to lower wages and we don't give a good GD about your other ideas.
BM: OK, thanks for your time. Here's some gloves to keep the sand out of your bloody knuckles. Goodbye.
