Pays 15:56, sitting here four days !!! This was one of two pairings in Open Time for March 12th. Have not been called out yet as of Saturday afternoon, 3 p.m. ................. Think it was a "knee jerk" for the anticipated freezing precip that was being forecasted a couple days ago ..................... Hotel is fine, plenty of places to eat around here, mostly filled up right now with MEMPHIS STATE folks. Thanks for the posts regarding the pay scenarios, but seems that this trip should have paid more (?) MPDP of 6 CH per day would have been better, no doubt. The AWAY time figured in at 83:30.

If you are still curious about the R24 climate check out MEM 11 trip 3154 13Mar09. Talk about a total hose job, this trip should have gone to a RA reservist but instead an R24 reservist on HSBY got it.
The icing on the cake is that the trip is really LAX trip #84 15Mar09 that is a DISPUTED PAIRING that nobody picked up so CRS pulled it out of LAX and assigned it to a MEM crew!

Another thing to watch out for. Skeds is giving these guys the option of staying home or in their crashpads. If guys take that option (and several have) it's almost cost free. No hotel cost or limo cost and they are paying them the same. All these guys need to check in and "be on their cell phones" Make'm pay or it will never stop. Reserve is less and less attractive these days.
Seems like a nice way to get more RA guys for zero cost.
Go to the hotel and make them pick you up at the hotel!

Hosed Again!
Got the call this morning for yet again another 4 day local base hotel standby when there is absolutely NOTHING in Open Time. 
Whatever...I'll take my golf clubs and beach chairs and make some lemonade out of some lemons
