Default Sweet!!!

Dropped another 15% in seniority!

The official bid close should be interesting -- plenty of long-term WB FOs are finally making the leap to NB Captain.

Can't wait till I get bumped off my seat -- Fred pays for training, a move to the Great White North, and buys my CASA!

Party Time! Margaritas on me, ladies! Forget the F-Street nonsense, I'm starting my own bar in AK.

Dress Code (ABSOLUTES)-- No Leather Jackets, No White Tennis Shoes, CASH ONLY! Free cover at Great AK Bush Company!

Cha-Ching!

Any talk going on about guys who might be upside down on their homes? I know if I got sent to ANC, there's a good possibility that the appraisal won't match what I owe. I wonder how corporate buyouts work when it comes to short sales. Interesting twist, I think.

The 6 Mar Alpa Message has some good info about contract company FedEx uses for their 3rd Party Home Purchase Program...read the fine print

"...ALPA understands that the Company’s vendor uses the appraisal guideline established by Worldwide ERC (Employee Relocation Council). Any pilot who plans to rely on the benefits of the plan is strongly encouraged to review Worldwide’s appraisal FAQ at http://www.worldwideerc.org/Resources/USRealEstate/Toolkit/Pages/faq.aspx. Of particular importance is Worldwide’s position on appraising by which it uses specific appraisal guidelines reflecting a sale within a reasonable marketing period not to exceed 120 days. Depending on your market conditions, this approach may significantly impact the value that you yield from this plan....:

It doesn't matter if you're upside down or sideways in the house...the appraisal (offer price) is based on a price in which "they" believe you could sell the home in 120 days...not really market value.

You also have 180 days to try and sell your house and still reap the rewards of the home sale. You could also make the move, rent a place, rent out your place, and still get the seed monies.

Buy it under market, and resell undermarket, just more than what they bought for!

Question

Check the 727 results.

How do 2 SOs get excessed off the DC10 in Memphis to the 727 in Memphis???

The DC-10 already had an excess bid where EVERYBODY was moved somewhere else, thus no one's previous award should have/could have been DC-10 SO MEM.

Were these 2 gentleman supposed to go to another seat, but for some reason didn't --- and thus were/have been seat locked in the DC-10 SO seat since the DC-10 excess bid closed out last year?

Someone please explain.

Thanks.
